Is this free?
Yes. Idle is free to use, with no ads. Fees apply only when people pay you through Idle.
What are your payment fees?
Making and sharing links is free. When people pay you through Idle, Stripe's card fee (2.9% + 30¢) and a 2% Idle fee come out of each payment. A $25 payment pays out $23.47.
When do I get paid?
After your first payment, add your bank account through Stripe. Once Stripe has confirmed your account, each payment is held for 7 days, then sent to your bank on the next Friday. It usually arrives 1–2 business days later. For items you ship, the 7 days start when you mark the order shipped. In your first 60 days of selling, the hold is 14 days. Your first payout can take a little longer while Stripe checks your details.
How do I get a refund?
Ask the seller first. Payments go through Idle, so Idle sends the refund to your card once the seller agrees. If the seller doesn't answer, or something you paid for isn't shipped within 14 days, contact us and we'll look into it.
Do I need an app?
No. Idle links open in any phone or computer browser, so you and everyone you share with can use them without downloading anything.
